My weight loss adventure started back in April. I was given a Fitbit and started on my way. I started logging calories, walking in circles trying to get my steps and drinking a LOT of water. The pounds started melting off. After a while, I would plateau. I would step up my game to start losing again.
During one of my plateaus, I was looking on a website that gives you products to try and then review. I saw these weight loss pills. They were all natural and everything I found about them was positive. I was only eight pounds away from my goal and decided if it worked, maybe I could hit my goal a little sooner.
I was so excited to try Pure Raspberry Ketones. I had done some online research and it sounded like it would work really well. When they arrived, Hubby and I started taking them that night. The directions said to take one before a meal with water, a half an hour before eating, twice a day.
A few days later, I jumped on the scale. I was excited to see if I had lost any weight. My excitement was soon gone as I noticed I had gained weight instead. When hubby checked, he had gained as well. I emailed the company letting them know what had happened. I was told that my body just needed to adjust and then it would be fine.
A week after I started taking the pills, I jumped back on the scale. My weight had gone back down a little, but I was still heavier than I was when I had started. My weight was going up and down, where before, I was always the same.
Since I said I would take these and do a review for them, I kept taking them. I kept telling myself that maybe since I had already been dieting and loosing weight, maybe my body would regulate and they would work for me, like they had for so many others that I had read online.
Two and a half weeks after taking the pills, the constant up and down weight, I decided to stop taking them. I wasn't feeling the best. They were supposed to help with wanting to snack but I found they made me hungry. They were supposed to help with energy but all I wanted to do was nap.
Part of me wonders if it would have worked if I wasn't already on my weight loss journey. Since stopping, I am back down to where I was before. I am happy that other people had success with these pills. They didn't help us, but everyone is different and so are our bodies. What works for one, may not work for another.
I am a firm believer that the best way to lose weight is to eat healthy and exercise. No, you don't need to go a gym. Just be active, even if that means you walk in circles in your house.
